Linda was bored...she decided to go out to the garden. Maybe she could read there, or perhaps meet someone else who was out there, but she rather doubted that she'd find anyone. She could be wrong, she surmised, but either way she'd have something to keep her wandering mind occupied with. She sat down a few feet from the gardens admiring the beauty of some of the flowers before opening her book. It was a muggle book by J.R.R. Tolkien. She had always admired his style even if he was of that cursed mudblood race. Her eyes quickly read the pages presented to her in The Hobbit. She closed her eyes gently for a minute before her black orbs refocused on the page and progressed onward.

Amber walked through the forest and saw Linda with one of THe Master's finest work, the Hobbit. "I didnt know anyone read the works of The Master around here." she smirked, producing her own copy of The Two Towers.

Linda laughed. "Ah, yes, Tolkien is one of my favorites. He's pretty good for a muggle, not like the rest of those mudbloods with their pathetic stories that barely make it off the ground," she said with a snort. "Nice to meet someone else with the same taste, I'm Linda Cosilla," she offered, with a smile.

"Amber Warwick." Amber replied with a soft smirk. "You're right.. he is one of the best. Some may call me a traitor, but in my opinion, he writes better books than the witches and wizards who write fiction nowadays." she said.
((are you a member of the plaza?))

"Yes, indeed." Linda smirked slightly. "A lot better than the writer that stirred up controversy years ago. Gilderoy Lockhart, apparently lost his mind, and I heard a rumor that the things he wrote about, he never did." She rolled her eyes. "Honestly, if you're going to write non-fiction, at least be honest. And most of the fiction novelists of the Wizarding World seem to have a twig up their arse." She rolled her black eyes slightly.
((Pardon my ignorance, but what's that?))

"So true." Amber smirked.
((it's this site where tolkien fans can discuss the books and rp.. it's like my second home.. lol. it's a bit more formal than this kind of RP..))

Linda grinned. "So what brings you out to the gardens, tonight?" she asked curiously. She pulled some black hair from her equally black eyes as her hair tended to get into her face a lot. That annoyed her, but it was something that she lived with.
((Oh, nope. I've only read a few of Tolkien's works...The Hobbit, and the Lord of the Rings series...lol))
